Hello. I am looking for my husband's family who immigrated from the Nienburg Weser area, John Frederich Daniel Wohler. His parents are Rudolf and Sophie Laumann or Lehmann Wohler. Came to America via N. York then to the Chicago area and ending up in Greenview, IL. Had a brother Heinrich and wife Koneing Sebenhausen. We have traveled to Nienburg and asked in the St. Marten's church, but nothing found. We have letters that reference a Uncle Cordes and Aunt Cordes in Nienburg. Would appreciate any help in finding the Wohler family place of origin. Thank you. Charlotte Wohler
