Formationsgeschichte mit Unterstellungen

  • Das Ers.-Inf.-Rgt. Nr. 29 wurde aus den Brigade-Ersatz-Bataillonen Nr.58, 82 und 84 gebildet.
  • 12.09.1916 [1]: Das IV. Bataillon trat als I. Bataillon zum Inf.-Rgt. Nr. 417.
  • 01.09.1918 [2] [1] : Das Regiment erhält eine eigene Minenwerfer-Kompanie, gebildet aus Teilen der Minenwerfer-Kompanie Nr. 433.

Feldzüge, Gefechte usw

  • Im 1. Weltkrieg unterstand das E.I.R.29 der 223. Infanterie-Division.
    • Verluste 1914/18: 46 Offiziere und 2540 Unteroffiziere und Mannschaften.
