  • Res.-Inf.-Rgt. Nr.265 aufgestellt aus den Feldbataillonen Nr. 44, 45 und 46 durch Stellv.-Gen.-Kdo. IX. A.K. im Lockstedter Lager.
  • Ein Btl.-Stab des Res.-Inf.-Rgt. Nr.265 wurde im Nov. 1916 an das III. Btl. des neu aufgestellten Inf.-Rgts. Nr.437 abgegeben.
  • Am 16.9.1918: I. Btl./R.I.R. Nr.265 trat zum R.I.R. Nr.76; II. Btl./R.I.R. Nr.265 trat zum Inf.-Rgt. Nr.162; III. Btl./R.I.R. Nr.265 (+ 2. MG-Komp.) trat zum Inf.-Rgt. Nr.163.
