Kriegsgliederung am 17.08.1914 [1] [2]

Formationsgeschichte

  • Res.-Inf.-Rgt. 57 (+ MG-Komp.) aufgestellt in Düsseldorf bzw. in Hagen (Stab, I. Btl.) und Lennep (II. Btl.).
  • Das im Oktober 1916 beim A.O.K 5 aufgestellte IV. Btl./Inf.-Rgt. Nr.56 wurde das III. Bataillon des Regiments.
  • 02.08.1914 [1] : Das Reserve-Regiment wurde gemäß Mobilmachungsplan mobilisiert. Neben dem ins Feld rückende Regiment wurde ein Ersatz-Bataillon und ein Rekruten-Depot aufgestellt.
  • 08.09.1918 [3] [4]: Das Regiment erhält eine eigene Minenwerfer-Kompanie, gebildet aus Teilen der Minenwerfer-Kompanie Nr. 213.
