  • Ersatz-Bataillon RIR24 aufgestellt Neuruppin, ab 18.12.17 Nauen, ab 1.9.18 Beeskow (4. Komp. am 31.3.1917 aufgelöst).

Formationsgeschichte

  • 02.08.1914 [1] : Das Reserve-Regiment wurde gemäß Mobilmachungsplan mobilisiert. Neben dem ins Feld rückenden Regiment wurde ein Ersatz-Bataillon und ein Rekruten-Depot aufgestellt.
  • 01.10.1916[2]: Das Regiment gibt die 3. Kompanie zur Aufstellung des Infanterie-Regiments Nr. 426 ab, und Truppen zur Bildung des Infanterie-Regiments Nr. 427.

  • 1914/18 RIR24 unterstellt der 6. Reserve-Division (Verluste: 62 Offiziere, 1871 Unteroffiziere & Mannschaften).
