Formationsgeschichte mit Unterstellungen

  • Res.-Inf.-Rgt. Nr.232 aufgestellt in Torgau (Stab & I. Btl. vom Ers.-Btl./Inf.-Rgt. Nr.72), Halle (II. Btl. vom Ers.-Btl./Füs.-Rgt. Nr.36) und Dessau (III. Btl. vom Ers.-Btl./Inf.-Rgt. Nr.93). Hinzu kamen noch Abgaben von anderen Ersatz-Bataillonen des IV. Armee-Korps.
  • 22.08.1914 [1]: Das Regiment erhielt die 3. und 4. Kompanie des 1. Ersatz-Bataillons des 5. Hannoverschen Infanterie-Regiments Nr. 165
  • 10.09.1918 [2] [1]: Das Regiment erhält eine eigene Minenwerfer-Kompanie, gebildet aus Teilen der Minenwerfer-Kompanie Nr. 107.
  • Nach Auflösung des R.I.R. Nr.227 wurde dessen II. Bataillon das III. Btl. des R.I.R. Nr.232.
