Formationsgeschichte

  • RIR261 aufgestellt aus den Garde-Feldbataillonen Nr. 1-3 durch Stellvertretendes General-Kommando des Garde Korps in Döberitz.
  • Ersatz-Bataillon Res.-Inf.-Rgt. Nr.261 aufgestellt in Döberitz.
  • 05.09.1918 [1] [2]: Das Regiment erhält eine eigene Minenwerfer-Kompanie, gebildet aus Teilen der Minenwerfer-Kompanie Nr. 279.

  • Verluste 1914/18: 63 Offiziere, 2325 Unteroffiziere und Mannschaften.
